The "Shot at Love" star (born Thien Thanh Thi Nguyen) allegedly got some unwelcome attention early Monday morning (April 13) when a person described as an obsessed fan reportedly hacked into her Twitter page and posted some disturbing news updates.
Radar Online reported that at 2:39 a.m. Monday, a Tweet was sent out that said, "Tila Tequila is dead," which was followed by a second post, in which the person bragged, "I just broke into her house, killer her and her dog. The post ended around 4:30 a.m., with Tequila writing, "I'm still shaking and crying! My dog in the trunk of the car, house is shattered, everything is smashed! I'm staying at a friend's house 2nite." A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said it had not received any reports of break-ins in the Los Angeles area that matched the one described on Tequila's site.
A rep for Tequila sent this statement to MTV News on Monday: "Tila Tequila is doing fine and is very grateful to her fans for their concern. She appreciates everyone respecting her privacy as she deals with this matter." The rep also said police were not called during the incident.
