This AUDITION INTENSIVE WORKSHOP offers the fundamentals essential to develop the skills necessary to become a working actor. This audition intensive workshop gives the actor the opportunity to gain self-confidence, and recognize their uniqueness, skills and talent. Actors from beginners to advanced will get the training that they need to audition and book the role!

SATURDAY:
Acting exercise "keeping it real"
The Pre-Read Audition - one on one with the casting director or reader
Using strong choices and knowing what they are
Breaking down the script
Emotional choices
Every line is a separate thought
What is the scene about?
What is your point of view and why are you in the script?
Find your transitions
Preparation versus memorizing
Starting a reading the 2nd time
Q&A throughout the day

SUNDAY:
Acting exercises "keeping it real"
The Callback audition
Come prepared with sides for you to audition. (Sides will be individually emailed to you so you have time to prepare prior to coming to the workshop)
How to audition with another actor and how to work with them
Using what you learned Saturday and applying it successfully
How to audition using improvisation (which is key to casting directors and talent agents)
Creating a believable character
Commercial Auditions and how it is different from film and television
The business of the show business! Information that is imperative to run your business to be a successful actor in Hollywood
Q&A throughout the day
