Melania Trump's Spokesperson Is Calling For A Boycott Of T.I. Over New Video Featuring Melania Looka
#TI's new video, you know the one where he let #Trump know he "ain't Kanye," garnered a lot of support but it also has unsurprisingly ruffled some feathers in the #WhiteHouse.
A spokesperson for #MelaniaTrump not only called the video, in which a Melania lookalike strips for T.I. in the #OvalOffice, "disgusting," she's calling for a full-on boycott of TIP.
#StephanieGrisham, Melania's director of communications, tweeted about the video on Saturday saying, "How is this acceptable?...#BoycottT.I." Grisham told @People on Tuesday, "Like it or not, she is the first lady and this is the White House. It's disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics. These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country - it needs to stop."
T.I. dropped the video on his social media accounts Friday. The video clearly mocks Kanye West's meeting last week in the oval office. At that meeting, Kanye let Trump know that he looked up to him and loved him, and even said Trump's MAGA hat made him "feel like Superman."
In T.I.'s video, after watching the president fly away on his helicopter, T.I. then stands behind Trump's desk watching a woman enter the room. Soon the woman strips off her green jacket, which was a replica of Melania's real "I Really Don't Care, Do U?" trench, and stands naked on the desk, stroking T.I.'s tie.
They later leave together and are seen spray painting over Trump's portrait and trashing the White House.
The minute-long video is a promo for his new album, "Dime Trap." The post also came a day after T.I. shared a long rant against Kanye following his meeting with Trump, when he called Kanye a "Sambo" among other names and claimed to be ashamed to have ever been associated with 'Ye.
