SHAWTY REDD Has Bond Hearing

McDONOUGH, Ga. - Music producer Demetrius Lee Stewart, known as Shawty Redd, Demetrius Lee Stewart a.k.a. Shawty Redd was formally charged with the January 1 shooting death of 35-year-old Damon Martin during an early-morning dispute in his mansion. Stewart has been held in a Henry County jail without a bond since the shooting. On January 12th the producer of Snoop Dogg's "Sensual Seduction" stood before Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero for a bond hearing. Prosecutors pleaded with Judge Amero not to release Stewart but his attorney Marcia Fuller successfully argued for the bond and it was set at $200,000. Shawty Redd, 28, is known for producing hits for artists like Young Jeezy , Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane and others. He allegedly shot and killed Martin in Hampton, Georgia on New Year's Day.
