More About ESSO
Friday night was pretty crazy. Didn't end up doing my second show (way too unorganized and way too far outside of the Downtown area) but me and my homie IB3 from Houston ended up going to some rooftop party with Solange before her show at the Convention center. My dude Gerard that was on the Howard Baseball team with me lives down here now so he ended up gettin up with us at my first show and rollin from there.
After we walked up and down 6th a little bit taking in the atmosphere and the random music coming from every bar we made our way over to the Convention Center for Solange's show which was dope. Janelle Monae was about 10 feet away from me rockin out to Solange, and Solange killed it. Spent the rest of the night walking around, heard dubFrequency had a really dope event later on in the night also.
Now I'm sitting in the airport seriously kinda mad that this is all over. Anyone that has any sort of artistic inklings can appreciate the feeling that you get just walking around Austin during SXSW. I'll definitely be back in 2010. Damn that sounds crazy doesn't it. I havent even left yet and I'm already talking about next year. Oh well, until then!

Just finished my first show, real good reception over at Lucky Lounge. Over at the Digiwaxx event right now, at the bar...The Cool Kids are on, ran into Kidz In The Hall backstage also. Bout to run from here back across to the East side of Austin and see what's crackin over there.
Supposed to have a show at 7 lookin kinda unorganized right now so ima play that one by ear but I'll definitely let yall know how that goes if I end up over there

Whas good BV? ESSO checkin in from Austin TX down here at South By Southwest (SXSW from now on). I got 2 shows today, possibly 3, and I'm gettin ready for them as we speak. I just burned my show CD(s); yea u gotta have a backup CD just in case something goes wrong.
Last night was my first night in Austin and the atmosphere was crazy. I ran into my homie Mickey Factz at Canvas Bar, so I checked his show out over there. After hittin Mickey's show we went to a couple other spots, ran into 6th Sense who was DJing later on and told me to come thru. In between the evening and later showcases I went and got up with my boy Charles Hamilton and listened to some of the new tracks he's been working on. Kid's been busy, I like what he's doing. After that we hit 6th Sense's showcase/dj set and ended up in a cipher outside the venue that someone has the footage of. I've been gettin some footage with my flipcam, and trust once I get that show footage I'm uploading it for everybody to check out.
Beyond that I'm just enjoying the weather and the Southern Hospitality around here. BBQ later on today at the house. But I dont think we can invite EVERYBODY to what's goin on over here. Hahaha! I'll be back in a little bit gonna rock out to the show CD for a few before soundcheck.
