AB+L Radio presents LAKIM x ArtbyOdell x WERC [Interview]

The talented producer/DJ LAKIM made his Atlanta debut April 10th performing at The Sound Table for an event titled WERC crew presents VIBES. Well before he did his show he along with Will Edmond (WERC Crew) stopped by the AB+L Radio studios to chop it up with ArtbyOdell. In the interview they discuss his musical inspirations, what's it like being a member of the famed Soulection Crew/Label. Will Edmond discusses what made him and his WERC Crew decide to bring LAKIM to the ATL. Will also discusses what he wants to see change with the Atlanta party scene and what his crew will do to make that happen. But most importantly you hear some of the great music that LAKIM is known for creating and if you did not make it out to the April 10th show you missed an amazing night. When it comes to having a signature voice and a gifted ear for production you must have Pharrell Williams at the top of that list. He stole the Grammys with his "Smokey The Bear" hat along with his great work with Daft Punk. Not to mention how can you not sing out loud to his track Happy that is all over the airwaves. Well I am happy to let you know he has his first solo album in eight years dropping on March 3rd! Well now I need to add the teen rapper Little Simz to my thoughts this young lady from North London is bringing some heat! This new track Mandarin Oranges is a current favorite of mine. Produced by Sango the track also has Michigan emcee Waldo dropping bars and this brother has a great flow.
