For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses. This week we want to look at a profound statement that our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ gave to us. Amazingly enough, you are going to discover that probably you have been caught up in unforgiveness in your life. So many times our focus is on God's forgiveness towards us forgetting that it is conditional. The Scripture clearly states, "If you...., I will...." and "But if you do not...., I will not...." Now look at that. We all want to be forgiven by God, isn't it? But it actually all depends on you. You might have done something in your life and you need the forgiveness of God. The first thing is, have you forgiven those who have wronged you first? This is a fundamental principle of the kingdom of God which has to be practised. With this virtue, you cannot have enemies. Why not forgive? Then you are not yet born again if you cannot. It is not acceptable for a born again Christian to be walking in bitterness, anger, rage, resentment, revenge, etc. Have you ever wondered why God is not killing anyone no matter how many times you have cried for fire upon them? He wants you to forgive. You are seeking death yet He is saying, "I want to save, not to kill." Born again Christians have no enemies because of this virtue. They cannot call for fire upon enemies. This principle also applies in prayer where you cannot pray whilst you are in unforgiveness. Let me give you an example. Someone might say, "I just want peace with my God, nothing else." You say this but at home you are not at peace with your husband or wife. Some even pretend to hold hands and smile when they are among people but when they are in the house there is no peace. You are only but fooling yourself. God is not a fool. First of all, be reconciled in your rebellious heart and forgive each other and then serve God. How can you pursue peace with God you have never seen but you are bitter with your husband or wife you see every day? That is what is called hypocrisy. No wonder, because of your hardened hearts, you have become prey of occultists who will teach you how to hate, not to love. Know that you have wandered away from the faith that was handed down to you, following the doctrines of demons which are taking you away from love to hatred. Don't you know that hatred is the same as witchcraft? Anyone who has hatred or practices witchcraft has no inheritance in the kingdom of God. Many people are praying hypocritical prayers from hearts full of anger and bitterness. God wants your heart to be changed and transformed so that you may have His heart. Pursue love. Get rid of bitterness and anger and all kinds of fleshly conceit which occupy your heart rather than being nourished by the mercies of God. Be born again, leave the life of the flesh behind and go for the Spirit. Brethren, concerning the matter of divorce, I believe we have to be taught again and again. It has become more than a disease in the society. But I strongly believe when God/ ordained marriage he had a greater and better purpose than what we think. Now, the coming together of a man and a woman is compared to the church and Christ. Can Christ divorce the church? Never, and can the church divorce Christ? Never! Why is it that even among believers it has become so easy to divorce? It has now become a norm (Ritual) in churches where Pastors proclaim that, "Today you will receive your marriage." After that ignorant men and woman shout, to supposedly receive, but without the proper understanding of what is marriage. After that they join the queue in the church for peace in marriage, which means God is not the ultimate goal for coming to church but because of many pretenders who are man pleasers. They want to win people for their own glory, so they tell them what they want to hear. To a believer who is filled with the Holy - Spirit, divorce does not exist because to him/ her it is not part of his/ her language because of Agape love. Not only is divorce affecting the world but also believers are divorcing, Pastors are divorcing. Now there is no difference between a believer and those in the world (non believers). If the church grows in the knowledge of His word in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, we will not have these issues affecting us. Spiritual growth is not measured by the number of years you have been a Christian, but by the level of knowledge which you are filled with. You must be filled with full knowledge that is the reason why the church was constituted. We need to comprehend the purpose of God concerning marriage, then we will live a peaceful life. Divorce is not of God. Simple! There is no explanation of what has happened as the reason for divorce because whatever happened God was not involved. His desire, is for marriages to be restored rather than broken, either for the non - believers or believers. Because our love was and is not Agape, we push for divorce. In Agape love, you cannot even think about, divorce. It is not part of your language. Do not listen to anybody who tells you that the Lord told him/ her that you should divorce. There are different kinds of love, as the spirit mentioned earlier in the last article. 1. Eros - love of interest or attraction e.g. (Beauty, money) 2. Phillia - brotherly love e.g. (Sharing with others what you have) 3. Storge - family love e.g (Uncle, mother) 4. Agape - self giving love e.g (Sacrificial love/ unconditional love) Points 1 - 3 are natural love. Point 4 is Supernatural love. Why did you enter into marriage? Anybody who wants to marry you because you are beautiful outwardly, flee from him. Do not get married to that man, neither any woman who wants to marry you because you are handsome. Tomorrow if something happens to your face he/ she will divorce you. Please note: If you are married, you can move from these other natural kinds of love to Agape love only by being born again and being filled with the Holy-Spirit. For your own information Agape love has to grow in you, you do not wake up with 100% of it. You have to nature it so that it grows. Once you come to this level, it is a measure. Many people are bitter over someone thinking that they are the cause for the marriage failures. You are the problem, not anybody. Religious leaders teach you to hate your aunt, uncle or mother for instance, and tell you to send fire so that they can die. They have nothing to do with your failures or problems. You are the problem, I repeat. Your ignorance is destroying you. Jesus Christ our Lord taught us something awesome. Look at, Mark 10 vs 7 -9 7. For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently, 8. And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh, 9 . What therefore God has united (joined together), let no man separate or divide. For the solution, I advise you not to do marriage seminars. Do Word Seminars. Marriage counseling is pin-pointing failures and trying to find who is wrong and right but in Word Seminars there is forgiveness and peace forevermore. To marriage counselors, it is better to preach the Word to those you are helping than trying to find who is right or wrong. To those who are born again, we were all forgiven by God through Christ Jesus therefore we have peace with God. Let us therefore forgive one another for it is God's desire. For even the [very] sinners love their lovers (those who love them.)" Brethren, in the believer's circle everybody wants to grow in the knowledge of the Son of God. This to be acquainted with clear and deeper knowledge of His will concerning your life, so that we can grow and move from being infants in understanding. In this I am talking about those who want their spirit to grow so that the purpose of God can be fulfilled through them. Do not remain a baby. Imagine a mother after giving birth to a child and after twenty (20) years, the child is still learning how to crawl and still feeding on milk alone. The mother will be extremely worried and will try to look for solutions. I am so burdened in my spirit for some of you because you haven't known the ways of God up to now. How do you know a baby Christian? 1. He or She is going to church to get something from God. Imagine some people a church to Pick n Pay. They want to pay a seed for marriage and wait to pick their marriage. What a baby Christian. N.B. I have nothing against Pick n Pay, it is only an example. 2. He/ she blames someone for his or her suffering and pain. I want you to know that no one is responsible for your pain and suffering. You are a witch to your own life. The bible clearly explains to us that we are made alive in Christ Jesus through rebirth which means, anybody who is not in Christ is dead. How can a dead person influence your life. The answer is , it is impossible. Some say behind every problem there is a witch or a demon. That is a lie for a born again Christian, for behind every problem there is a man or a woman who is 100% ignorant i.e. refusal to accept the truth even if they are taught. 3. He/ she prays for the death of his or her enemies. A matured Christian has no enemies because Christ is the one who lives in you. A baby Christian fears to die so he or she tries to protect his/ her life by praying for the death of his/ her enemies although the enemies continue to live up to now. Here you can measure the maturity of a son of God whether a believer or a preacher. Be aware that cultist will teach you how to hate not how to love. We can go on and on but let us go to the topic of the week, Divorce in Agape Love. First and foremost, marriage was constituted by God himself as a mystic secret in the Old Testament but revealed in the New Testament. The scriptures expressly say, "Therefore, a man will leave his family, so as a woman and they become one body." I want you to note the words, "One body", are very important. Probably you are processing divorce papers, let me help you. Reverse your decision now rather than later because you are about to know the truth. Divorce is fruit from the Devil, no matter whatever reason you have. In the Old Testament, God showed Prophet Hosea what Agape Love was all about buy ordering him to marry a prostitute and she would later on leave him and she was promiscuous again but the Lord commanded the Prophet to go and take back the wife who had been an adulteress. But Pastor, the Scripture says in Matthew 19 vs 8 - 9 8 "He said to them, Because of the hardness (stubbornness and perversity) of your hearts Moses permitted you to dismiss and repudiate and divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been so [ordained]. 9 "I say to you: whoever dismisses (repudiates, divorces) his wife, except for unchastity, and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries divorced woman commits adultery." The essence behind this Scripture is not for believers but for the world or religious people. In this case, Jesus was answering the Pharisees not His disciples. The intension of God is for marriages to be restored rather than to be broken. Question What if my husband or my wife cheats on me? Answer What an awesome question. One of Agape Love's qualities is forgiveness. This is unconditional forgiveness. Forgive your husband or wife because you are now one flesh so whatever he/ she did, you did it together. I know it is too hard to take but if you want to grow then comprehend Jesus teachings. As Hosea took back his wife, children of God ought to be like that. Hosea 3 vs 1 "Then said the Lord to me, Go again, Love [the same] woman (Gomer) who is beloved of a paramour and is an adulteress, even as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes or raisins [used in the sacrificial feasts in idol worship.] Love you all, be blessed. The love of God has been shown forth in many different ways and it is reasonably beyond doubt that God created this world by His own power. The heavens, the earth and the underground were all created by God Himself and for Him. Amazingly enough, some people are yet to wake up to this knowledge and understanding. Because of the ignorance of man, many have wondered away from Him, being conscious that God is there but not giving Him honour, glory and praise. We all, just like others, wondered away and followed the way of the world. We desired to fulfil our inner ego, greediness, lust, etc. By so doing, we were enemies with God. Anyone who lives to satisfy his/her own desires, not living for God, needs to quickly realize that God created him/her so that he/she may live for Him. This is the time that you must come to God and start to live a life full of purpose according to the design of God. The love of God is showering upon your life in an amazing way, whether you worship Him or not. You are enjoying the goodness of God. The sun rises both for believers and non-believers, the same as the rain and many other things that we enjoy every day. But brethren, do not take the love of God for granted. It is time you recognize Him in your heart by believing that He is your Lord and Saviour. God did not create you for the world but the world was created for you. No wonder Matthew 6:25 and 32 says, 25. "Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? 32. For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly father knows well that you need them all. Amazingly enough, the reason why the holy wrath of God will be revealed is because the light came in the world but many loved darkness. Pursuing the world is a form of disobedience to God. His intention was and is never for you to be subjected under the world but the world to be subjected under you. John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. This is an amazing Scripture. Because of His love towards us He sent His Son to die for us and redeem us from the dominion of disobedience (sin) that had subjected us in our lives. In reading this, God is calling you by His grace to salvation. He will not punish you for the sins that you committed or the sins your forefathers committed, as some believe. He will wash you by His blood and you will be as white as snow and He will call you His child and you will call Him your Father. Him alone has life and without Him there is no life. Pursuing the world is like chasing smoke. When you hold it, it vanishes from your hand. Do not measure the love of God according to what you have or do not have. Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer]; 6. In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. This week we are talking about a wonderful and awesome truth and I trust and believe God, the Father of Light, to whom everything on earth derives their name from and to Him who sits on the throne be glory, honour and praise forevermore and unto Him who empowers our inner beings and strengthens us to do all things, be fellowship and may this Word spread all over this world and bring salvation to those whose hearts are open to believe and receive, to give us more revelation. It is so amazing that nowadays everybody is trying to put effort in order to get something from God. If you decide to visit gatherings of 'believers' you will be surprised with one thing - that everyone will be saying, "Lord, bless me." You begin to wonder if God has become or been reduced to a level of a Non Governmental Organization. Preachers have turned their attention to myths that will only sound good to your ears. Let me give you an example before we go any deeper. Imagine how many times you have been raising your hands high and shout, "I receive it." What will you be receiving and from where? Are you so dull and without understanding? Don't you know that all things are in you if you are born again? Since you have been 'receiving', what have you got? If you preach anything except Christ, that is false doctrine and you are a false teacher and you are in idolatry. Let Him alone be exalted, nothing else. Some might argue and say, "He is against us receiving from God." I urge you to wake up from your slumber and let the light of God shine forth from your heart. How can I be against that when God Himself, my Father, has already given you all things if you are born again? I am against you believing that you haven't received from the Father the Spirit that guarantees your salvation and eternal life. I tell you that you have already received the first fruit, the guarantee and assurance that you are saved. Therefore, if you have received the Holy Spirit you have received all things pertaining to life and godliness. What about altar, bull and seed offerings? The above Scripture is self-explanatory. Do you need more explanation? Since you are reluctant to hear the truth, I pray that God may have His mercy on you, for the Scripture ( Hebrews 3:7) says, Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice. This is the time to open your hearts to Jesus Christ and let him reign in you. All the above kinds of offerings are irrelevant to God now. The Gospel is the good news about the expression of the love of God, for in the Gospel is the revelation of the love of God towards His creation. The love of God has been shown forth in our lives through his son as a sin atonement once and for all. Through His death and resurrection from the dead, creation has been redeemed from corruption, for it was through him, in Him and for Him that God created the whole universe, in heaven, on earth or under the earth. It is imperative to have the revelation of the Gospel, for some have come up with their own version of the gospel which is not the Gospel at all and by so doing, they deceive many. This has always been happening through all generations and that is why having the understanding of the Gospel is the key for your spiritual worship. Let us use a simple example to explain this. You have a relative who is sick and you decide to send two people to visit that relative so that they can bring a report to you. You send the first person and he comes back with his report which says, "I went where you sent me and the doctor was there as well and I spoke to him. This report is not only about my account but it is my observation together with the doctor's. It is very unlikely that your sick relative is going to survive. From the look of things, she is helpless and there is nothing that the doctors can do." Would you call this good news to the hearer? I personally don't think so. After two weeks, you send another person to go and check the condition of the sick relative. He goes and when he comes back, this is his report, "I saw your relative and fortunately, the doctor was also there and this is not only my report but it is the doctor's report combined with my own account. Your relative is very strong and the doctors cannot find any trace of sickness in her blood. Nobody can explain what happened and the doctors are even amazed. Surely it is an unbelievable story." This is the second report and I would personally call this good news. Then we go back to the Gospel. The Gospel is the good news about the finished work of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Please bear in mind that if it is the finished work, no one can add to it, thus no one can desire to die again for creation as a sacrifice. How about this? Every time and again you are worried about generational sins and curses, witches and so on. You even wish if you were born in another family because in your family they did a lot and went to different places for solutions and you really feel like you are cursed. Again and again you are trying to be free but you cannot. Is it because there is a lot to deal with? Brethren, in this life there are different kinds of Gospels. Not to say that they are many, but some have come up with what they call the Gospel but it is not the gospel at all. Let it be known unto you that there is only one Gospel, one Lord, one Spirit, one God and one faith. The gospel is the good news. What if I am always hearing bad news ? I feel sorry for you, because what you are hearing is not the gospel. The gospel is not "You will be out of your situation soon if you do this and that. The gospel is "You are already out because Jesus Christ defeated the enemy." You may ask, "Pastor, why am I always told that this one wants to kill me or this one is fighting against you? That comes together with hatred. When there is hatred God is not there, but when there is love. Their intention is not for your own good. Their desire is to win you FROM Christ so that you may follow them. It is possible to hear the gospel and deny it just like the children. So many times they have been rebellious to God, refusing the Word of God for bad news. Jesus Christ came to His own but they refused Him. Are you really a believer ? So many times in the Bible we are told to do an introspection of our inside to find out if we are really walking in faith. After preaching the gospel in different cities, the Apostle Paul wrote letters informing them of how sad he was because after hearing the good news they were turning away to follow other news which was not the gospel . To those who were still holding on to their faith, he would encourage them to stand firm in the faith. If you wish for the death of someone, calling for fire upon them and after their downfall, you know that you are not born again. Do you know that being born again is not a matter of the confession alone, but your walk in faith and belief? How many times did the followers of Jesus desert him because of his teachings? They said He was a blasphemer, He had a demon, and many things they said about Him. They did not believe His teachings. Even His disciples could not understand His teachings until after His resurrection. Sister/brother, after getting married you will discover that you need help again. No matter how you will get in terms of money as long as you are still alive, you will still need more. Greediness creeps in. The journey of wanting more and more to satisfy the ego inside of you doesn't end. The solution to you is not anything of this world but Jesus Christ. Part 3 1 John 4 vs 8 "He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [Does not and never did know him], for God is love." Brethren, concerning the matter of love I do not want anyone to mislead you. The kingdom of God is the kingdom of love and for you to live a kingdom life you need to be a man/ woman full of love. This love is supernatural, which means if you do not have it, the problem is not the absence of love but of the Holy Spirit. If you are filled with the Holy-Spirit, the first fruit that He gives is love, and then you must grow in it to reach the highest measure of perfected love just like Jesus Christ. The reason why we are born again is to be molded into the image of Christ. We cannot say that we cannot be like Jesus Christ who blessed people who nailed him at the cross. We have to be like him. It is a kingdom life, and you have to learn how to live that life. From the time Jesus Christ was ministering until his death and resurrection you will discover that the days of vengeance were over. Look at this, Luke 9 vs 54 and 55 Verse ₅₄ And when His disciples James and John observed this, they said, Lord, do You wish us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, even as Elijah did? Verse₅₅ But He turned and rebuked and severely censured them, He said, You do not know of what sort of spirit you are. Woo!! Awesome! So what sort of spirit is in us? It is the Spirit of Christ. It is not the spirit of Elijah, meaning to say we have the spirit of peace. John the Baptist is the one who came with the spirit and power of Elijah not Jesus Christ. Let us not reject the Spirit that cries "Abba Father", crying for the spirit of Elijah. We cannot send fire to the enemies, or chant that the witch must die. We have the spirit of Christ if we are born again. Brethren, if anyone wants to do the will of God let him/ her discern whether this teaching is from man or God. If Jesus Christ is in you, bless those who persecute you, pray for your enemies. The spirit in us is not the spirit of vengeance, it is the spirit of peace. Question from one reader? How can I deal with those who want to kill me? Answer First and foremost we need to understand that no one can kill you unless God allows. Otherwise you should have died long time ago. We are not alive because of our prayers; our lives are hidden in Christ Jesus. So how can someone kill you if you are in Him? I am alive because of the kingdom of God. I died the day I was baptized, and now it is no longer I who liveth but Christ lives in me. Brethren, bless your enemies, feed them when they are hungry. In the above statement, I have used the word "I' because I know why I am alive. I do not know about you if you know why you are alive? Be inspired also from the life of Stephen. Acts 7 vs 60 "And falling on his knees, he cried out loudly, Lord, fix not this sin upon them [lay it not to their charge]! And when he had said this, he fell asleep [in death]" No one in the New Testament ever called for vengeance. They had an understanding of who God is. This is what I mean when our Lord Jesus Christ was brought before Pilate. Pilate wanted to threaten him to answer his questions by telling him that he had power as a king. Our Lord denied that and answered him that no one had power or authority over him (Jesus Christ) unless he was given from above. He knew no one could kill him until the appointed time by God. Brethren, studying the above scriptures will help you. Do not call for fire upon your enemies. The spirit in you is the spirit of peace. Agape love is the foundation of Christianity life. We ought to accept the gift of God so that Agape love can be manifested in us. Many are denying and grieving the Spirit of God because of being natural in their thinking and understanding. I pray that you may embrace the gift of God which is the Holy Spirit. If you do not love, then you are not yet born again. Many desire gifts of the Spirit but let me help you, they are nothing to you without love. Christianity life without the expression of Agape love is a noisy life with no meaning. It is a gift of God, but just like any other gift, you need to put it to flame, grow in it through his word and experience, i.e. it comes through practice. We are sons of God. If you are born again, therefore you carry the nature of your father. For He so loveth the world (not Christians only) that He gave His only son, that whosoever believeth in Him will not die but will have eternal life. Therefore, we ought to love the brethren as Christ loved us. Remember, the Spirit explicitly opens our minds by informing us that this love is a gift. We ought to pray for those without this love so that they can be born again, filled with the Holy Spirit. It is a gift which a natural man cannot have for it is a supernatural gift. A natural man will not accept or understand it. 1 Peter 3 vs 9, "Never return evil for evil or insult (scolding, tongue-lashing, berating), but on the contrary blessing [praying for their welfare, happiness, and protection, and truly pitying and loving them.] For know that to this you have been called, that you may yourself inherit a blessing [from God-that you may obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection.]" From the above scripture, we can denote something. If you are born again and you live by His Word, you cannot try to send the arrows of fire back to the sender. That is unbiblical. If you read the whole New Testament scriptures, you will never find a scripture which says we must kill our enemies. In fact we are commanded to love (as a command but in grace.) We must grow in love; in other words, let your love be perfected according to the stature of Christ and his perfected love. If you can take your time to read the whole 1 Corinthians 13, you will come up with one thing, that without love you are a useless nobody. What does it mean? It means you are natural. Let me help you, 1 Corinthians 8 vs 2, "If anyone imagines that he has come to know and understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary." The above scripture says it clearly as to how you know that you have knowledge of God or you do not have it. Thus everything is centered on love. Brethren, whatever you do without love is nothing before God. If I start to write articles every week but it is not emanating from love, I am useless and a nobody. What we need to be conscious of is that love is the centre of everything. Let your life express love to the world. Remember you are a showroom of love; therefore, show forth your love to the world. Remember you have to grow in it. Please note that any gift you might have means nothing to God if you are using it without love. To preachers of the word, by this I mean every believer not necessarily the fivefold ministry; please preach from the heart full of love. Qualities of Agape love € It is patient. € Is not rude. € Does not keep record of wrongs. € Believeth all things. € Is not selfish. € Forgives € Is not boastful. € Is not vainglorious. Question: How do you measure spiritual growth? Answer: By your expression of love towards others. Avoid evil chanting (cultism chants) "Fire to the enemy!" "Let the witch die!" This is not from God but from the enemy who is the devil. "You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy." 44.. "But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." I am writing to you brethren concerning the subject of love, the love of God. It has come to my attention that there is need for the Spirit of God to explain to us what the love of God is, and how we can know if we have it. I believe,by the grace of God,we will get to know what this love is all about. The reason why we have to focus on the love of God is that if you do not have it means you are not born again. Before I go into detail about this, let us look at 1 John 4 vs 7, "Beloved, let us love one another for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognise and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]" The scripture explains plainly that if you do not have this love, you do not know God and you are not born again. It is also supported in 1 Corinthians 13 vs 1, "If I [can] speak in tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am not only a noisy gong or clanging cymbal." What is important in your Christianity walk is love, because God is love. No wonder he said in Mathew 7 vs 22 & 23 22.. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23.. And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. It means that it was not coming out of love but you were doing it for your own names, for pride, for boasting etc. This understanding of God's love will help us to know whether a man/ woman is from God or not. Brother/ sister, you do not need revelations, dreams, visions etc, to know who is a man of God/ woman of God. The devil will not preach love, for God is love. Anyone who prays against enemies is not of God, simple. What is Agape Love? I am going to explain the other kinds of love to help us understand Agape love. 1. EROS LOVE: Love of attraction/ interest 2. PHILLIA LOVE: Brotherly love/ sharing goods. Natural 3. STORGE LOVE: Family love. 4. AGAPE LOVE: Self - giving love. Supernatural The first three (3) kinds of love are natural, thus the world has them and the last one, Agape love is supernatural. Only sons of God have it because it is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament God showed his love through the Prophet Hosea when he told him to marry a harlot and later on the prophet was commanded to take back the adulteress, which was an expression of the virtue of forgiveness. Agape love was manifested to man when Jesus Christ was on earth. From the scripture in Mathew 5 the Lord is teaching us to love our enemies because he was ushering a new dispensation of grace. We cannot get inspiration of love from the Old Testament except the book of Hosea. We are not like Elijah, we are like Christ. Christ came to teach us the new way of living which we call the Kingdom Life. He established a kingdom and made us Kings and Priests in that kingdom and taught us how to live. Agape love is self-giving. John 3 vs 16, explains that God loved the world and gave his Son to us. The comprehension of Agape love is the beginning of Christianity life. We are now sons of God because we carry the nature of our Father (depending on who your father is.) Those of God are sons of God. If God has not destroyed the world with all the evil happening but desiring everybody to be born again, how can you want to destroy his creation? Then it means you are against Him. Agape love is self-giving meaning sacrificial love, ready to forgive. (AMP) A prophet is an interpretor of the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching. This scripture means that a prophet has a role to make all men see what was fulfilled in Jesus Christ so that their eyes can be opened to understand the divine will and purpose of God. A prophet edifies the kingdom from the foundation of what Jesus Christ did. It is an inspired preaching and teaching that man can walk in the ways and purposes of God. It goes over and above predicting future events. N.B: God can give you a word concerning the future while you are a true prophet. What I am saying is that it has to be in alignment with his word. Some claim to be prophets, but they cannot teach the mystery of Christ. Remember we are not commissioned to preach or teach anything except Christ. Predicting the future is something that spiritist are specialists at. Let me help you, many people think that if someone calls your name, your phone number, identification etc., he or she is a prophet, because the information said will be true. Remember demons are spirits that can see everything. It is not about what has been said coming to pass. Ask your Gogo where they used to go to consult and how they would be told about everything and all that would come to pass. How can a prophet of God prophesy about curses, money, cars, phone numbers, shoe size, etc? This is absolutely (100%) nonsense. How can a true prophet instill fear in your life? A true prophet has a purpose just like the other four ministries to elevate Jesus Christ not man. We do not preach ourselves but Christ alone. If anyone claims that God has send him to you to make you rich, he wants to manipulate you. God sent his son to fulfill the salvation of man. The difference between a true prophet and a false prophet. 2 Thessalonians 2 vs 9 -10 "The coming (of the lawless one, the antichrist) is through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of (pretended) miracles and signs and delusive marvels ... (all of them) lying wonders - And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing (going to perdition) because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved." Jesus Christ gave gifts unto men for a particular reason and purpose. There is a lot of spiritual misunderstanding in the body of Christ concerning the title "Prophet". Some claim that the role of a prophet is not specified in the bible but in the scripture above the role of prophets is rightly specified. After Jesus Christ did the work that no man could do, including the Old prophets, he later gave gifts unto man. Please read slowly the above scriptures and you will know and understand that he never did it so that prophets would claim that they can take people into their destiny, which Christ already did. Nobody can claim now to have the keys to take people into their destiny. Which destiny is that? If every born again Christian is in heaven and has the kingdom of God in him, which other destiny are you looking for? Now we do not search for destinies but we serve our purposes in the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ did everything for us, which no man could do, including the prophets of old. They could not take people into their destiny. Hebrews 1vs 1 - 2 Verse 1: "In many separate revelations (each of which set forth a portion of Truth) and in different ways God spoke of old to (our) forefathers in and by the prophets." In the past God spoke to man using angels, to prophets and the prophets would pass the message to man. Hebrews 2 vs 2 will help you to understand this. When God spoke to Moses, he was using angels as intermediates. Now if you want to know whether a prophet is in the past or now they will speak of angels talking to them. Verse 2: "(But) in the last of these days He has spoken to us in (the person of a) Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through When He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time (He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order.)" Now he has spoken to us using his Son, replacing angels and prophets thus fulfilling the law. The law and the prophets prophesied until John the Baptist came with the Good News. After these prophets Jesus did what no man could do. Then he gave gifts to men to perfect and equip the chosen saints with proper and accurate knowledge of Jesus Christ. Do not take people into bondage of human laws. What about prophecies? A prophet of God now, and the prophets of old like Jeremiah, Isaiah etc are different. The prophets of old were not telling people about cars, money etc. They prophesied about the seed/ heir, which is Christ. A true prophet is an expounder of the word with deep insights of the real and accurate knowledge of Jesus Christ. To prophesy, you do not need to be a prophet. Everyone with the Holy Spirit can prophesy. Joel 2 vs 28: "And afterwards I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. Now we have a problem in the body of Christ because spiritists are wearing suits. It is easy to identify them. They speak about themselves not Christ and will point you to Old Testament scriptures. What about scriptures after Christ? Are we in law or under grace? The word clearly states that we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ therefore we have peace with God. How come a "true prophet", will tell me that I have a curse and I need to pay sacrifices and alters to be free? Does it mean the blood of Jesus Christ was not enough? Should I buy freedom and blessings with silver and gold? Certainly not! Why? Because 1 Peter 1 vs 19 says: "But (you were purchased) with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a (sacrificial) lamb without blemish or spot." IT IS BY THE BLOOD!
