"I have realized; it is during the times I am far outside my element that I experience myself the most. That I see and feel who I really am, the most! I think that's what a comet is like, you see, a comet is born in the outer realms of the universe! But it's only when it ventures too close to our sun or to other stars that it releases the blazing "tail" behind it and shoots brazen through the heavens! And meteors become sucked into our atmosphere before they burst like firecrackers and realize that they're shooting stars! That's why I enjoy taking myself out of my own element, my own comfort zone, and hurling myself out into the unknown. Because it's during those scary moments, those unsure steps taken, that I am able to see that I'm like a comet hitting a new atmosphere: suddenly I illuminate magnificently and fire dusts begin to fall off of me! I discover a smile I didn't know I had, I uncover a feeling that I didn't know existed in me... I see myself. I'm a shooting star. A meteor shower. But I'm not going to die out. I guess I'm more like a comet then. I'm just going to keep on coming back."

Balancing your relationship and your career

We all know that managing a career isn't easy,especially if you're an entrepreneur. If you add a relationship in the mix it gets even more tough, but should it? Studies show that people in successful relationships make more money, are healthier, get more promotions and live longer! So here are some tips to help you balance your check and your boo.. #1. Support This is a MUST! Without support from your significant other you really don't have much. Whatever it is that you wish to pursue (Unless it could possibly harm you) he/she should support you 100%. They don't have to agree 100% but they should definelty support! #2. Prioritize There is a time and place for everything and guess what, you have control over what you want to take place. After work is complete you can spend the rest of you evening with bae but make sure your business is taken care of first so that you can relax without any distractions (Who wants to make business calls while they're cuddling? No one) #3. Set and share your goals Share your prospective goals (both for your career and relationship) with your partner so he/she won't feel that you've excluded them from your long-term plans. This is also a way of letting him know that the effort you put into work is not only for your benefit, but for the future you're both working toward as well. They'll feel encouraged to be supportive rather than resent the time you have to spend at work and away from them. This may even inspire babe to be more ambitious when it comes to his own career. #4. Be social Technology exists for a reason-to reach out to people. Spending time at the office is unavoidable, but ruining your relationship because you have a job is 100 percent avoidable. The fix? Take five minutes each day to send a quick private message to your significant other. #5. Spread LOVE Love Love Love Love is the answer. However you show your love do your BEST and let them know you appreciate them. Hope this helps!
