The Beat XChange is an online bidding system, in which producers can display a range of their artistic capabilities and partner with artists who are looking for music for their artistic use.

The BX Producer is designed to provide up and coming producers with a means to actually profit off their art before "making it big." By signing up for an account, a producer is able to upload original beats to their account, which you can update as frequently as you like. Snippets of these beats are available for aspiring artists to browse through and make offers on. Producers can view the amount of money that has been bid on a particular beat. At any time you have the option to accept an offer or wait for a higher bid.

The BX Producer is an excellent means of gaining exposure as well as financing your musical endeavors.

How does it work?

  • The producer uses the BX Producer Service to create a Beat Profile (Beat Name, Description, Asking Price, Genre, and Tempo).
  • The producer uploads their beat to this Beat Profile.
  • Artists use the Beat XChange to browse through available Beats.  Artists are only allowed to listen to random portions of the beat.  This restriction is in place to protect the Producer.
  • Artists place bids on available Beats.
  • The producer accepts a bid.
  • The artist is notified by email and within their Account Home Message Center that their bid has been accepted and they have 72 hours to pay for the beat.
  • After the artist pays for the Beat, ownership is transferred to the artist.  The artist has exclusive access to download and listen to the beat from within their Beat XChange Account.  The beat will remain on our servers for up to 30 days, unless the artist requests extra storage time.  The artist can also request that a CD with the beat be shipped to them.
  • The producer is sent a check.

  • Protect Your Work
    By registering your Beat with the BX Producer, you have a valid record of when you created your beat. If anyone tries to steal your music, you can use the BX Producer as a reference to show when yours was created.
