On New Year's Eve Nike dropped the Air Max OG pack which included the Air Max 90 (Infared), Air Max 95, Air Max 1, and Air Max 97 all in original color ways.
Less than a month later, the OG pack get's a remix. This time we get the same classic silhouettes but with updated mesh, called "Engineered Mesh." Read below for more details.
The Nike Air Max 1, 90, 95, and 97 are some of the most pined-after silhouettes that Nike has to offer. One would be hard pressed not to find a pair roaming the streets in major cities all over the world - whether they're tied tightly to carry someone to a new PR or loosely laced under a pair of jeans. The Nike Air Max line redefined and transcended the look of sport to become a cultural movement. So when Nike designers started discussing ways to reinvent these iconic models, they didn't take it lightly. How to re-imagine these classics while staying true to the sneakers' timeless style?
Enter Nike Engineered Mesh: new proprietary mesh patterns that enhance the functionality while retaining the overall look of the original models. It enables both tight and loose perforation patterns to replace traditional color blocking, gradients and overlay placement. Originally used in performance running footwear, the varying perf patterns allow for "zoned" contruction: Tighter patterns are placed where durability is paramount while looser patterns are used where breathability reigns supreme. The result is a more breathable, flexible and durable Air Max family - lighter and leaner than ever.
The Engineered Mesh Air Max collection will be available beginning January 2013.
Update: The Air Max EM Pack drops on Jan 17th, 2013.

This here is a true tragedy. Just before Christmas and on the last day of school before Xmas break 14 year old Paul Sampleton was murdered inside his own home. The motive... his sneakers?! From what I understand this young man arrives home after school and cats are inside his house waiting on him. They tie him up in the kitchen, murder him, and then take his sneakers.
This is just sick! Dudes are going to new levels for satisfy their thirst for sneakers and it's truly getting outta hand.
What also make's me disappointed is little to none of the major sneaker blogs / websites are covering this story or offering to help find the killers who did this. This could of easily been me or one of my friends, so it hits close to home.
Just want to say Rest In Peace to Paul Sampleton and The Kaos Effect sends our prayers to his family. We hope the person (people) who did this are found and they get the Sam Jack "A Time To Kill" treatment.
I've been jamming to this track every day since I first heard it a few weeks ago. I knew it was only a matter of time before they hit us with a video. It feels like we haven't had a A-Town anthem in a minute. When the Falcons make the Superbowl this year this is what I want to hear them run out of the tunnel too.
This track is taken from Big Boi's new album Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors In Stores Now.
T.I. SNAPS on this joint like an alligator who hasn't eaten in 3 weeks.
If you grew up in the same era as I did, then you already know Bo Jackson was that dude!!! A true force to be messed with on the baseball and football field. He also had a great Nike marketing campaign "Bo Knows" which produced some funny commercials and an iconic sneaker the Nike Air SC Trainer which is still sold to this day in various color-ways.
One day it seemed like Bo Jackson was going to have a long illustrious career filled with many World Series and Superbowl appearances. Then the next thing you know, it seems as he faded out of the spotlight. Only to be mentioned when compared to Deion Sanders as who the best dual-sport athlete was.
On November 30th, 2012 Vincent "Bo" Jackson celebrated his 50th Birthday. As the ad's aired for ESPN's 30 for 30 "You Don't Know Bo" I knew that would be a must see TV moment. I must say the title was absolutely correct! There was a lot of things I did not know about Bo Jackson especially.... Wait, If you haven't seen it yet, I won't spoil it for you.
Check it out right here.
Shouts to the homie Warren who hooked up these graphics in honor of Bo's 50th Birthday.
New video from P.SO the Earthtone King. The track is called "Find Out" and features vocalist Andrew Reid. This is the first video from P.SO's new LP "The Gateway To Greatness." I love that title. Can't wait to check out the project.
Recently I took a trip to North Carolina for some business. While there I was fortunate enough to attend a game at Cameron Indoor Gym at Duke University while they were playing Georgia State.
I must say I'm not a Duke fan at all, but I am a fan of sports moments. Visiting Cameron Indoor was one of the top sports moments in my life. First of all the gym is just that, a gym, not an arena or a stadium. The spot is DUMB small. There's no real seats, just benches with numbers. The benches reach up to the rafters. It's experience just arriving to the gym and getting to your seat. On one side of the gym you have the "Cameron Crazies" who are students who watch the entire game while standing. When I say standing, I mean they NEVER sit down. The noise they make, the chants they do is to be intimidating to the opponent. The seats in the place seam closer than normal. My seats were close enough see the score keepers do their thing, as well as yell at the team. I jokingly told someone, my seats were so close, I could smell Coach K's breath. HA.
Looking into the rafters you see some of the best Bball players names and numbers. Visiting Cameron is definitely a college basketball experience like no other and I'm glad I got a chance to check it out. I snapped a couple pics, check em out...
Big Boi is gearing up to release his second solo LP "Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors" via Def Jam December 11, 2012. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the listening party that was held at the world famous Stankonia Studios (Where the music leaves Stank On Ya). Big performed a few tracks with live band and proceeded to take a seat and play some tracks off the album for us. Features include Little Dragon, Kid Cudi, T.I., Ludacris, Sleepy Brown, and Killer Mike who as usual has a monster verse. After playing the album he jumped into a performance of Outkast's B.O.B which caused two of his homies on stage to perform some of the dance routine from the video. HA.
Check out the cover art and a few pics I snapped below.
Make you sure check for Big Boi's new LP December 11th.
Out of all the kicks I own... I don't have any made out of cork. Lebron X corks are CRAZY! Nike making a celebratory shoe for Bron as he wins a ring, a gold medal, and MVP all in the same summer. You might wanna toast up! These are supposed to be dropping in December, but there's no official release date yet. Don't expect these to pop up at your local Foot Locker though. Word is these will be pretty exclusive. Need me a pair for sure!
