Song Of The Week

Song Of The Week

Johnny Mathis is featured in our Song of the Week on New Beginnings. He's on a short tour and look for him in your area. "Chances Are" is a classic song by Johnny Mathis, released in 1957. It became one of his signature hits and remains one of the most iconic love ballads of all time. The song was written by Robert Allen (music) and Al Stillman (lyrics) and was produced by Mitch Miller.

"Chances Are" reached #1 on the Billboard Most Played by Jockeys chart and helped solidify Mathis' reputation as one of the great romantic vocalists of his era. Its smooth orchestration and Mathis' distinctive, velvety voice made it an enduring favorite in the Great American Songbook
