1 critically injured in Lawrence shooting

LAWRENCE, Ind. - An investigation is underway after a man was critically injured in a shooting in Lawrence Saturday morning.




According to the Lawrence Police Department, just after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of E. 63rd Street & Harrison Ridge Blvd on the report of a person shot.




When officers arrived, they located an adult male was injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.




No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
