1 dead, 5 injured in 2-car crash in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. - One person is dead after a two-car crash in Madison County.




The Madison County Sheriff's Department confirmed the crash occurred at the intersection of 1900 North and 200 West around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.




According to the department, one person was pronounced dead on the scene while five others were injured.




Multiple helicopters were called to the scene, with three of the injured being lifeflighted.




The identity of those involved has yet to be released.
