1 dead after car strikes tree

INDIANAPOLIS - One person is dead after a car struck a tree.




According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, officers were called to an accident on North Meridian Street and East 91st Street shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.




Upon arrival, police located one vehicle involved in an accident. One person involved has been pronounced dead.




The crash is currently under investigation.
