1 dead in Henry County motorcycle crash

HENRY COUNTY, Ind. - A Lewisville man died in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday night, according to the Henry County Sheriff's Department.




Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of south State Road 3 at 11:43 p.m. on Wednesday on a report of a crash.




Upon arrival, a deputy found a motorcycle in the grass median between the northbound and southbound lanes. A few moments later the officer saw a man and attempted to perform lifesaving measures, but the driver was pronounced deceased on scene by emergency medical personnel.




The victim was identified as 33-year-old Cody Denney.




There was reportedly no other vehicle involved in the crash.




In the preliminary investigation, authorities found that the motorcyclist may have been speeding and loss control of the vehicle.
