
INDIANAPOLIS - A person was killed in a shooting on the north side of Indianapolis Saturday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 6000 block of Michigan Road around 5:39 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD confirmed that the victim has been pronounced dead.
As of this article's publication, no additional information on the shooting - including the individuals involved in it and circumstances that led to it - had been made available.
