1 killed in two-car crash on I-465 in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after one person was killed in a two-car crash on Interstate 465 on Indy's northeast side Sunday morning.




According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened just after 1 a.m. on I-465 between Keystone Avenue and Allisonville Road. The Indiana State Police confirms one person died in the crash.




INDOT says all eastbound lanes were shut down for over two hours as investigators worked to investigate and clean up the incident.




No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
