1 shot on the east side of Indianapolis in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS - An individual was shot on the east side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.




Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of N Shadeland Avenue on a report of a person shot at approximately 6:19 p.m. on Thursday.




Upon arrival, officers located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.




The victim is reported to be in critical condition.
