INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested two people in connection with a June shooting downtown that left a person injured and damaged multiple businesses.
Dmitri Nibbs, 19, and Camron Casky, 18, each face a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness. They were taken into custody on Monday, more than two weeks after the shooting took place.
The incident was reported on June 15, 2025, just before 4 a.m. near N. Meridian and Washington streets. Officers discovered a person had been shot in the vicinity and was taken in a private vehicle to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
Multiple businesses sustained damage from the shooting. Some needed their windows repaired.
During the course of their investigation, detectives zeroed in on Nibbs and Casky as possible suspects.
