2 injured after car flips into fire station on near west side of Indianapolis


INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were injured after a car crashed and flipped into a fire station on Indy's near west side Saturday evening.




According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, just before 7 p.m., IFD Station 1, which is located near West 10th Street and North Elder Avenue, was damaged after a car hit the building.








IFD says an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in the crash and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. No firefighters were injured, according to IFD.




The incident remains under investigation.
