INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after two people were injured in a shooting on Indy's near west side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of West 10th Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they located an individual with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. They were transported to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.
Shortly after, investigators received a report of a second victim arriving at an area hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators believed they were injured in the same incident. They were reported to be in stable condition, police said.
No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
