INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after two men were injured in a shooting at an east side bar Friday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the "The New Yorker" bar in the 300 block of North Colorado Avenue on the report of a fight and shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they located two adult males with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. One was reported to be in critical condition and the other was reported to be stable, police said.
Investigators believe the incident started when a woman ran into the bar after being chased by a man. The man entered the bar several times before he began firing shots at the bar itself and getting into a gunfight with another man, police said.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and they all parties in custody and accounted for.
No additional information was provided. The incident remains under investigation.
