INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after three people were seriously injured in a crash on Indy's northwest side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 3:00 a.m., officers were called to the 4200 Kessler Boulevard North Drive on the report of a personal injury crash.
Police say a car and tow truck collided head on, which forced both vehicles off the road. The tow truck proceeded to hit a tree afterwards.
The driver of the car, and a child in that same car were both transported to area hospitals in critical condition. Meanwhile, the tow truck driver was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Police are still trying to determine which vehicle crossed the center line.
No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
