INDIANAPOLIS - Seven additional people are charged following the violent July 4 weekend in downtown Indianapolis, according to a press release from the Marion County Prosecutor's office.
"The allegations outlined in these probable cause affidavits- a 14-year-old in possession of a firearm and the firing of fireworks at police and residents- are categorically unacceptable and will not be tolerated," said Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears.
Four juveniles were charged with the following:
- A 14-year-old male has been charged with Auto Theft and faces gun possession and resisting arrest allegations.
- A 14-year-old male has been charged with Escape and faces additional allegations of resisting arrest.
- A 16-year-old male has been charged with Criminal Recklessness and another charged related to allegations involving shooting a firework in the direction of others.
- A 17-year-old male was arrested and faces misdemeanors charges for his alleged conduct.
Three additional adult suspects were also charged:

Four additional minors are also facing charges stemming from the mass shooting on July 5.
