At least 1 killed in crash on Interstate 65 in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS - At least one person was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Indianapolis Wednesday night.




Around 11:18 p.m., the Indiana Department of Transportation reported that the ramp connecting I-65 southbound to I-465 southbound at mile marker 123.5 was blocked. In its notification, INDOT reported that the crash involved one fatality.

As of 11:30 p.m., INDOT had not estimated how long the ramp will be blocked. INDOT did confirm, however, that Indiana State Police are investigating the crash.




As of this article's publication, ISP had not provided any information about the crash, including the number of vehicles involved in it or what caused it.
