Lil Jon will release his memoir I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me on October 20th. The book spans from his mother's birth in Alabama through his three-decade career shaping Atlanta's hip-hop scene. Lil Jon promises an expansive look at creating hits like "Get Low" and "Yeah!" while collaborating with Ice Cube, Usher, Ciara, and Pitbull. The memoir will explore personal topics including "shocking" family revelations, the recent death of his son Nathan Smith, and his relationship with meditation, mindfulness, and Islam. "I've worked on a lot of different projects over the years, but this one right here made me dig deep and turn inward," Lil Jon said. He acknowledged both "enormous wins" and "immense hardships" throughout his career, stating he's finally ready to share his complete story with fans.
