Christina Aguilera Set To Release New Album Alongside "Very Personal" Documentary

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday (December 9), Christina Aguilera revealed that she is planning to release a deeply personal new album alongside a career-spanning documentary produced by Time Studios and Roc Nation. The documentary, which has been in the works for several years, explores her journey from teen stardom to motherhood and a new creative phase, with Aguilera revealing that opening up on camera has profoundly influenced her music. "It's going to be a really personal project coming up because it'll tie in with a very personal documentary that we've been filming for the last few years," shared the 44-year-old Grammy winner. The documentary is directed by Ting Poo, who in 2022 said of the project, "Christina Aguilera is one of the most iconic artists of our time. I am truly honored to tell the story of the person behind the music."
