Demi Lovato Returns To Touring Despite Previous Concerns About Physical And Mental Demands

Demi Lovato will launch her It's Not That Deep Tour in April, two years after suggesting she might never tour again. The singer says that touring is taxing "on the body, on the mind," while explaining her earlier hesitation. "It's just a lot of work, but the reward of playing in front of your fans and getting to see their reactions to my new music, to older songs... It's the feeling when I see a fan crying through a smile because they're so excited to be there," Lovato said. "As hard as touring can be, it is so much fun." The 18-show tour begins April 13 in Orlando and runs through late May, supporting her 2025 album, It's Not That Deep. Lovato has been doing cardio and strength training to prepare physically for the performances, though she did recently cancel five tour dates in order to prioritize her health and allow for more rest and rehearsal time.
