J. Cole Sets February 6 Release Date For Long-Awaited New Album, 'The Fall-Off'

J. Cole took to Instagram to announce that his highly anticipated album, The Fall-Off, will finally be released on February 6th. Cole revealed the release date through a cinematic promotional trailer showing him washing his car and eating at a restaurant counter, ending with a brief snippet from the album. Following the announcement, Cole shared a new song on social media labeled "Disc 2 - Track 2," indicating the project will be a double album. Fans have been patiently waiting for The Fall-Off since 2018, when Cole included "1985 - Intro to 'The Fall Off'" on his KOD album. At a 2019 Las Vegas performance, he promised the record would drop the following year. Instead, Cole released The Off-Season in 2021, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His most recent release was the 2024 surprise mixtape, Might Delete Later, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
