STEPHEN SANCHEZ GIVES HIS TWO CENTS ON THE POWER OF LOVE ON NEW SINGLE "CHUCK THE MONEY"

Fresh off his Opry debut, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Stephen Sanchez proves it's going to be a yearning summer on his new single "CHUCK THE MONEY," out today via Mercury Records. Bolstered by a flourish of trumpets, Stephen urges listeners to shift their priorities from material things to true, powerful connection. The song is featured on Stephen's forthcoming sophomore album, Love, Love, Love, out May 8.
With "CHUCK THE MONEY," Stephen blends old-school influences and modern pop sensibilities, further expanding his sonic universe that feels rooted in the past while always looking toward the future. On writing the song, Stephen shares, "This was the second song we wrote for the record. It's about throwing out the material things and placing value back on connection and intimacy that's real and has a heartbeat. But also taking it to a place that's fun and innocent as well."

Just last week, Stephen made his Opry debut, where he lit up the stage with a pair of songs off Love, Love, Love. Recently, Stephen also gave fans a taste of the new album with performances on Good Morning America and Medium Sized Backyard. Ahead of the album's release, Stephen has also shared tracks "LOVE, LOVE, LOVE" and "SWEET LOVE," with the latter being accompanied by a video co-starring his grandparents. The new album follows 2023's Angel Face, which earned critical praise from NPR, SPIN, V Magazine, FLOOD, American Songwriter, and more.
