YoungBoy Never Broke Again Becomes Most Certified Rapper In RIAA History

The Recording Industry Association of America announced on Friday (January 16) that YoungBoy Never Broke Again has earned more certifications than any rapper in history. Youngboy now has 126 RIAA certified titles, surpassing artists like Kanye West, Drake, and Jay-Z in Gold and Platinum songs and albums. The milestone coincides with the release of the Baton Rouge rap star's ninth studio album, Slime Cry, and follows his August 2025 mixtape Deshawn hosted by DJ Khaled. YoungBoy has produced 29 other projects, mostly mixtapes, and 102 singles throughout his prolific career. Rolling Stone ranked his 2025 track, "Shot Callin," as the third-best hip-hop song and seventh-best overall song of the year. His recent Make America Slime Again Tour concluded in November, earning $28.3 million while selling 231,000 tickets across 17 arena shows, coming in as the seventh highest-grossing rap tour of 2025.
