Zara Larsson Recalls Audience Throwing Grapes At Her During An Early Performance

Zara Larsson has shared her memories of a difficult show early in her career where audience members threw grapes at her while performing. In a TikTok video she shared on Wednesday (March 4), Larsson responded to fan footage of her singing "Lush Life" at a radio station event roughly ten years ago. "They were throwing grapes at me, and it felt so medieval," Larsson said. "It felt like ducking tomatoes up there on this tiny stage with the radio station that I was there with." Today, the 28-year-old Swedish pop star is enjoying major commercial success with three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, including "Lush Life," "Midnight Sun" and "Stateside" with PinkPantheress. Her "Stateside" collaboration currently holds the No. 1 spot on Spotify's Global chart. Larsson is touring the U.S. on her sold-out Midnight Sun Tour through April 12 in Houston.
