Lana Del Rey Announces February 17 Release Date For New Single, "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter
Lana Del Rey announced on Saturday (Feb. 7) via her Instagram Story that her new single, "White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter," will be released on February 17th. Del Rey called it "my new single and my favorite song" from her upcoming country-inspired album, Stove. The 40-year-old pop superstar said she was "really happy" about the track, and that "this is the one I've been waiting for." The singer worked with producers Drew Erickson and Jack Antonoff, who "finally found that magical chord that was missing," and co-wrote portions of the song with her husband Jeremy Dufrene, brother-in-law, and sister Caroline "Chuck" Grant. Regarding her long-delayed new album, Del Rey said it would be released "soon" but noted "'cause vinyl takes three months, so three months plus two weeks." Her upcoming 10th studio album was originally titled The Right Person Will Stay then Lasso, and its release was postponed from May 2025 to 2026 after Del Rey realized the songs "were more autobiographical than I thought."
