GREENFIELD, Ind. - This tribute to late Colts owner Jim Irsay might not be written in the stars, but it is written in the next best thing in Indiana: corn.
Take your family for a stroll "For the Boss" at Lark Ranch this fall, where a tribute corn maze spanning several acres honors the memory of the late owner of the Indianapolis Colts.
Located at 1611 N. Meridian Rd. in Greenfield, Lark Ranch's tribute maze is part of two new fall fest activities backed by the Colts team- meaning fall fun seekers might just run into a familiar Blue face or some Colts cheerleaders while visiting the ranch.
Lark Ranch will host a special Colts day on Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greenfield location. In addition to the regular Lark Ranch offerings of pumpkin patches, hayrides, carnival rides and corn mazes; the special Colts takeover on Sept. 27 will feature appearances from Blue the mascot and Colts giveaways and sweepstakes.
Tickets for the Lark Ranch Colts Day are $15 at the gate, but the first 500 fans to buy tickets using the code "Colts25FallFest" will receive $5 off. Those tickets can be purchased here.
But don't worry if the pumpkin patch mood doesn't strike you until October. The Jim Irsay corn maze can be enjoyed all season long at Lark Ranch in Greenfield.
Lark Ranch in Greenfield is mostly open from 11 a.m. to 6 or 8 p.m., depending on the day of the week. Some days are reserved for field trips and homeschoolers, so be sure to check their calendar for specific hours and days.
The second Colts Fall Fest day is a takeover of the Russell Farms Pumpkin Patch in Noblesville on Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This special Colts-themed day will also include an appearance from Blue and the Colts cheerleaders along with special giveaways and sweepstakes.
