
INDIANAPOLIS - The circus is in town.
Or at least, it will be when the Indiana State Fair starts in August.
The fair will feature the Big Top Circus presented by Bee Window in the new Big Top Zone. Expect all the thrills of the circus included free with paid admission.
The Big Top Zone is a newly designated area featuring a classic circus tent. Fairgoers will encounter clowns, daring acrobats, aerialists and more.
The Big Top Circus will perform multiple times a day during the course of this year's Indiana State Fair. Daily shows are scheduled for 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Some of the highlights:
Ian Garden (Ringmaster)
Ian Garden Jr. is a third-generation circus producer, ringmaster and animal trainer, continuing the legacy of the renowned Garden family in the circus industry. Garden has produced and performed in numerous shows across North America. His work has been spotlighted in the media, including the documentary series "Circus," which provides an inside look at the life of circus performers. Garden continues to innovate in the circus arts, blending traditional performances with modern entertainment to captivate audiences nationwide.
Brian Miser (Human Cannonball)
Brian Miser, known as The Human Fuse, is a world-renowned human cannonball and daredevil performer. A former star of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Brian is celebrated for his high-flying stunts using custom-built cannons, including a one-of-a-kind human crossbow. He has appeared on "America's Got Talent," "The Late Show with David Letterman," and "Conan O'Brien," and holds a Guinness World Record for launching himself 104 feet through the air.
X-Metal Riders (Globe of Death)
The X-Metal Riders are a premier motorcycle stunt team, renowned for their high-octane performances in the "Globe of Death," a daring act in which riders navigate a spherical steel cage at breakneck speeds. Founded by Jhonatan Dominguez in 2006, the team has captivated audiences worldwide with their precision, skill, and fearless execution.
The Indiana State Fair runs from Aug. 1 through Aug. 17. It's closed on Mondays. Learn more and get tickets here.
