A dry start so far this morning, as clouds are slowly returning to the area, soon to be followed by scattered showers and thundershowers by late this morning and through the afternoon. Mild temperatures will make for a great start, too, for the rush hour and at the bus stop...enjoy!
By this afternoon, thicker clouds will be in play, as greater shower chances emerge, along with a few thundershowers. Even with the chances rising, many dry locations will be expected for outdoor projects. Highs this afternoon will reach the middle 70s, with southeast winds at 6-11 mph.
The new unsettled weather is being driven by an upper-level low pulling in from the south. This will bring a daily shower chance and added clouds through midweek before departing to the northeast. Expect a larger push of warmth to end the workweek before a cold front Friday night brings a more seasonal, dry return for the weekend.
