Columbus man arrested on charges related to child pornography, bestiality

COLUMBUS, Ind. - Indiana State Police have arrested a Columbus man on charges related to child pornography and bestiality.
According to a press release, the arrest of 45-year-old Brian Willment capped a two-month investigation ISP conducted. Police first began looking into Willment's activity after they received a tip that indicated a person in Columbus possessed child pornography.
ISP indicated that it identified Willment as the individual described in the tip "through investigative techniques" and with help from the Child Rescue Coalition - a nonprofit entity that helps law enforcement identify, arrest and prosecute child predators.
Police executed a search warrant on Willment's residence on Tuesday. During the search, ISP recovered additional evidence that suggested Willment possessed child sex abuse materials.
Willment now faces 10 Level 5 Felony charges - all of which are related to possession of child pornography and bestiality.
ISP encourages all Hoosiers to report child exploitation and solicitation to the Indiana Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
More information on the ICAC task force and NMCEC are available here and here.
