Convicted Kokomo child molester showed 'no remorse;' sentenced to 120 years

KOKOMO, Ind. - A Kokomo man will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars after a judge sentenced him to more than a century in prison.
Geremy D. Miller, 48, was found guilty in April of 24 counts of child molestation-related felony charges. The jury deliberated for nearly four hours before handing down their verdict.
On Friday, a judge sentenced Miller to 120 years in prison.
Previous stories detail how Miller is accused of molesting multiple children, with the allegations stretching back to 2008.
One victim claimed Miller began grooming them in Third Grade and began abusing them in Fourth Grade. The abuse escalated until Miller allegedly forced the victim into sex acts in Sixth Grade.
The molestation continued for several more years, according to the victim. Miller reportedly used threats of violence to keep the victims from speaking out.
The judge cited both the victims' young agef and Miller's "numerous manipulative actions" to hide his crimes for years as part of the reason for the hefty sentence.
The judge also wrote that Miller "has shown no true remorse" and referred to his victims as "b*****s" and said he hopes the victims "get what is coming to them."
What's coming for Miller is more than a century in state prison.
