Coolest morning in 3 months; perfect day ahead

Skies are clear and we are off to a chilly start this morning. Many locations are in middle to upper 40s, to begin your day...the coolest morning in 3 months (early June)!




Nothing earth-shattering for downtown, as the record low for this morning is 38°, set back in 1986. Regardless, grab a jacket or sweatshirt out-the-door and enjoy the bright sunrise.

A perfect afternoon is expected with bright sun, mild temperatures, and light winds. We will tack on another day running below normal (81°), our fifth straight day in a row, as cool air resides under high pressure from Canada.

Great weather will hold for the entire workweek but each day gets warmer and things will become a bit hot by Thursday through Saturday, as highs return to the upper 80s.
