Crash forces officials to temporarily close portion of Interstate 70 westbound near Ohio-Indiana bor

WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. - A crash forced officials to temporarily close a portion of Interstate 70 in Wayne County late Tuesday night.
According to a notification from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened on I-70 westbound at mile marker 156, which is located less than a mile from the Indiana-Ohio border.
As of 11:43 p.m., few additional details about the crash had been made available. Neither INDOT nor Indiana State Police had indicated if anybody was injured in the crash.
Officials had not provided any information on what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved in it as of 11:43 p.m. INDOT cameras in the area appeared to show one car that had slid into the interstate median. Three semis were also stopped behind the car in the median.
Police were set up behind the semis and the crashed car to divert traffic onto exit 156. Pictures produced by INDOT's cameras did not clearly show if the three stopped semis were damaged or involved in the crash in any way.
