HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. - First responders rescued a man who was trapped in a grain bin in Hancock County Monday afternoon.
County officials told FOX59/CBS4 that crews responded to a farm located along County Roads 300 West and 200 North around 3:47 p.m. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they located a man trapped in a bin that was partially filled with soybeans.
First responders reported that they were able get the man out of the grain bin just before 5 p.m. Medics transported the man to a local hospital after he was extracted from the grain bin.
Hancock County officials indicated that the man is expected to survive the injuries he sustained during the incident.
