Cumberland PD: At least 2 people injured in shooting

CUMBERLAND, Ind. - At least two people were injured in a shooting in Cumberland Saturday night.




Public police reporting systems indicate officers with the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Woodlark Drive and East New York Street on a report of a person shot around 9:41 p.m. CPD has confirmed that it located at least two victims during its investigation of the shooting.




Cumberland police are expected to provide an update on this shooting later tonight or Sunday morning. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the shooting - including the medical statuses of the victims - had been made available.
