Death investigation on near south side

INDIANAPOLIS - Authorities have launched a death investigation on the near south side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.




Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Pleasant Run Parkway in Indianapolis at approximately 9 a.m. on a report of a water related injury.




The Marion County Coroner's Office will determine the manner and cause of death.
