DANVILLE, Ind. - Indiana State Police are investigating Monday after a sheriff's deputy shot a man outside the Hendricks County Courthouse in Danville.
According to the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office PIO Jim Yetter, a sheriff's deputy was involved in a shooting outside the courthouse. The condition of the man who was shot is unknown.
Police officials said the scene is secure and there is no ongoing threat to the public. However, the crime scene is very active as an investigation is underway.
Indiana State Police is now leading the investigation into the shooting. No other information was immediately confirmed.
