Aaron Watson has revealed he underwent double vocal cord surgery, marking his second procedure in four years. "Man, the last four years I've two vocal chord surgeries. And it kinda made me push the pause button multiple times," Watson explained. The procedures involve surgeons inserting instruments through the mouth and throat to repair vocal fold issues using small tools or lasers. Despite the challenges, Watson reports feeling renewed appreciation for his music career and fans. "Coming out of that, I'm doing great now. I have a new-found appreciation for my career, for the fans... life is short," he stated. The singer recently released his 26-track album Horse Named Texas on March 6th and plans an expanded "Platinum" edition featuring 40 tracks. Watson expressed his commitment to country music's future, saying he's "gonna be all up in country music's kitchen for the next five years."
