Brad Paisley Jokingly Refers To Himself As "Mr. More Baseball"

Brad Paisley has humorously dubbed himself "Mr. More Baseball" for his uncanny streak of singing the national anthem before World Series games that went into extra innings. The country superstar performed at Monday's marathon 18-inning Dodgers-Blue Jays game, which lasted over six and a half hours and ended with a Dodgers win. That game tied the record for the longest World Series game (by innings) that was set in 2018 during the Dodgers-Red Sox game, which also featured Paisley performing the national anthem (and also ended in a Dodgers walk-off victory). In fact, this marks the fourth time Paisley sang at a World Series game that extended beyond the regulation nine innings, including previous extra-inning games in 2017, 2018, and in 2024. Speaking with the Associated Press about his extra-inning streak, Paisley jokes, "I am cursed. No, I don't think so. It's wild. It's fun. I think it's a really fun thing."
