Cody Johnson Confirms Luke Combs Collaboration, Teases More Duets On Upcoming Album

Cody Johnson revealed details about some noteworthy collaborations on his next project during an interview with Katie & Company. Johnson confirmed a duet with Luke Combs, stating "Yeah, we finally got that done... me and Luke Combs, we cut one together." He also announced a partnership with Brothers Osborne that developed through good mutual timing. Johnson explained the collaboration began when he heard a song and thought it suited the Brothers Osborne, while they simultaneously reached out to him asking about working together. "I heard the song and I was like, man, this sounds like John and TJ... and they had happened to be reaching out at the same time," Johnson recalls. The reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year teased additional unrevealed collaborations on the album, saying "There's a couple collabs that haven't happened yet. There's going to be some cool surprises on here."
