Meghan Patrick Credits Husband Mitchell Tenpenny With Helping Her Personal Healing Journey

Meghan Patrick says her marriage to fellow country musician Mitchell Tenpenny played a crucial role in her personal growth while creating her newly released deluxe album, Golden Child: The Final Chapter. The 38-year-old artist says the new tracks bridge "the woman she was and the woman she has now become." Patrick explains her three-year marriage helped her learn vulnerability after previously isolating during difficult times. "My relationship with my husband was also a big part of my healing," Patrick states, adding "he healed a lot of pieces of me that he did not break." She credits Tenpenny with being the first person who made her feel safe being vulnerable. "It started with him but it also ... trickled out into everything else I did in life," Patrick shares. The deluxe version follows her October 2024 release of Golden Child, which received an Album of the Year nomination by the Canadian Country Music Association.
