Morgan Wallen Plans $1.2 Million Donation To Upgrade Former High School's Baseball Field

Morgan Wallen intends to contribute $1.2 million for improvements at Gibbs High School's baseball facility in Corryton, Tennessee, where he was a student over ten years ago. The Knox County Commission must approve the funding, which could create a "versatile, state-of-the-art multi-use athletic field," according to commission records. Wallen played on Gibbs High School's 2010 national championship baseball team and graduated in 2011. The facility received the designation Morgan Wallen Field in 2025. School officials also plan to construct a softball training facility on campus. The 32-year-old singer will make the contribution through his foundation, which supports youth sports and music initiatives while assisting communities during emergencies. His foundation collects three dollars from each concert ticket sold.
