Red Street Records' Country chart-topper Chris Lane released a cover of the 2016 hit worship track "O Come To The Altar," available everywhere today. Originally recorded by GRAMMY award-winning band Elevation Worship, "O Come To The Altar" offers listeners a powerful reminder to return to the arms of the merciful Father.
Lane shares, "This song has been so meaningful to me and has held a special place in mine and my family's life for so many years. I played it in my set on my first headlining tour back in 2017, and it was the song that was playing in the room the day my firstborn son, Dutton, was born. I hope everyone is moved by its message the way it's always moved me."
Written by Chris Brown, Mack Brock, Steven Furtick, and Wade Joy, Elevation Worship's original recording of "O Come To The Altar " reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs and Christian Airplay charts and has garnered RIAA certified 2X Platinum status. Lane's version, produced by Seth Mosely, follows his third studio album Shade Tree (STREAM), which features fan-favorites like "What Am I Supposed To Tell The Dog," "Fire We Found" feat. Abby Anderson and the title track "Shade Tree," which Chris performed LIVE on the stage of NBC's TODAY.
